For what it is, a almost 4 inch heel, it's not excruciating to wear. I was really hesitant to get a heel this high since almost every high heeled shoe gives me pain, but I was suprised, not bad! But, keep in mind, it is what it is, a 4 inch heel. Make sure you had compare the size chart on the website before you purchase. the chart is helpful , then they will fit well ,You can wear these classic pumps with just about anything. I got a lot of compliments from my girlfriends on these.
